Awareness drive on blood pressure

KATHMANDU:

The Nepal Blood Pressure Control Society (NBPCS) is going to start an awareness campaign to prevent people from having high blood pressure soon. According to a press release issued by the NBPCS here on Monday, a meeting of the NBPCS under the chairmanship of Dr Mrigendra Raj Pandey has decided to distribute pamphlets, posters, and calendars and organise awareness camps to provide general information about the high blood pressure.

“According to a statistics, one out of 4 persons suffer from high blood pressure,” the release said.
