KATHMANDU: The government has decided not to transfer key officials of any state-priority project until its completion, if their work-performance remains good. A meeting held under the coordination of newly appointed Chief Secretary Somlal Subedi on Monday decided not to transfer key staffers, including the project chief and account chief, until  project completion, if their work-performance remains good, read a statement issued by the Office of Chief Secretary. Frequent transfer of key officials is one of the major reasons behind the delay in completion of priority projects.
