KATHMANDU: The Embassy of Bangladesh in Kathmandu on Wednesday observed the 45th Victory Day of Bangladesh by hoisting its national flag on the embassy premises.

A prayer, known as, ‘Doa Mahfil’ was also offered for the eternal peace of the souls of martyrs, those who lost lives during the Liberation War in 1971 and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the founding father of Bangladesh.

During the occasion, the Victory Day messages of Bangladeshi President, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister were read out.
