Bid to stifle tribal bodies flayed

Lalitpur, August 6:

General Secretary of Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities Dr Om Gurung, addressing an interaction organied to mark the World Indigenous Day today, said people should be made aware about the increasing ‘control’ over the indigenous bodies by the government. Presenting a paper, Keshar Jung Baral Magar said Magars are the most affected indigenous community of the nation. He spoke of the need to forge a unity.
