DPM Nidhi takes stock of Chakra Prasad Banstola's health

KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bimalendra Nidhi on Saturday visited Chakra Prasad Banstola, who has been lying unconscious for last four years.

Nidhi reached Banstola's Bhainsepati-based residence and took stock of his health condition, according to his aide Ramjee Dahal.

Nidhi, on the occasion, also commented that Banstola's ill health for such a long time was a loss to the nation and their Nepali Congress party.

Banstola is fed through a pipe and he is given physiotherapeutic treatments at home, according to the family.

Banstola had fallen unconscious while attending a function in Biratnagar of Morang around four years ago.
