The condition of Nepali student Bipin Joshi, who was among those held hostage and taken towards Gaza following an assault by Hamas in Israel, is still unknown.
The spokesperson for the Israel Defence Force reported that Joshi was held captive by the Hamas group after the attack on October 7 at Kibbutz-Alumim in southern Israel and taken towards Gaza, according to the Embassy of Nepal based in Tel Aviv, Israel.
In a press release, the Embassy stated that Joshi's current whereabouts are unascertained, he is still out of contact, and a search is ongoing for him.
