Bir Hospital doctors bent on stir

KATHMANDU: The indefinite stir of resident doctors of National Academy of Medical Sciences (Bir Hospital) has continued for the third day, without any signs of abating.

The agitating doctors have boycotted talks with the present team. They have accused that the present team was not capable of fulfilling their demands.

Dr Arbin Joshi, spokesperson, Resident’s Association, NAMS said that they would submit a memorandum to the Ministry of Health and Population seeking high-level representative from the ministry to solve their problem.

Talking to The Himalayan Times, he said that they would continue with their strike until the authorities fulfill their demands as per earlier agreement.
