BHAKTAPUR: A bomb disposal team of the Nepal Army has defused a pressure cooker bomb planted at Ncell tower, on the roof of Sallaghari-based garment factory, today.

The pressure cooker bomb was kept in a sack. The NA bomb disposal team defused the bomb after an effort of two hours.

Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Bhaktapur Metropolitan Police Range, Krishna Prasain, said that investigation into the case was underway.

Vehicular movement via Araniko highway was stopped for two hours following the incident.

Similarly, an unidentified group exploded an improvised explosive device (IED) at Ncell tower in Sudal of Changunarayan Municipality on Tuesday night.

Prasain said that some materials including Ncell tower battery were damaged in the incident.
