British Ambassador to Nepal Rob Fenn has expressed appreciation to Pearson's effort in Trans National Education through the test like PTE in Nepal.

Addressing the second 'PTE Partners Meet' organized by PTE Nepal office here in Kathmandu Fenn said that the English language has a global ownership and the effort like Pearson makes it more convenient for more people.

"I see this whole market as a small part of wider Trans National Education, thank you for driving TNE here in Nepal. I loved the idea of idea of teaching in medium of English, the course which are devised and quality controlled at British institution, but delivered abroad and increasingly through institutions based in Nepal. And I know Pearson are deeply involved in that enterprise," Fenn said.

He also thanked all the stakeholders, education consultants, and organizations for providing quality English language classes. PTE has helped Nepali students to enhance their English language to pursue their higher education in the native-English spoken countries by providing quality English language classes, proper consultations, and other services.

Pearson's PTE is now the most sought English language test for the English language in Nepal. PTE, a standard English language computer based test is one of the most preferred tests by Nepali students.

Premila Paulraj, Director of Employability and Qualifications during the event said that it was remarkable that PTE in its short span of operation has become one of top country where Pearson's PTE is opted as the proficiency English language test.

"The entry of Pearson of PTE in Nepal was just a decade ago. In this time numerous students and families achieved their dreams. And today it covers a significant market share in the English language proficiency test market." She also informed that Pearson's portfolio of test has expanded to five with latest additional being PTE Core for Canada launched recently.

PTE Core, is expected to be a huge support for Nepali student aspiring to go Canada as a migrant.

Vice president PTE Global Stakeholder Ms Sasha Hampson through video message said that 2023 was pivitol year for PTE as they surpassed a one million milestone of number of test takers as 1.2 million people took the test this year, making one of the most popular test.

Suman Krishna Shrestha, Regional Development Manager in Nepal and a higher education expert thanked all the dignitaries and expressed gratitude to all the stakeholders for making PTE the most desired test in Nepal.

The partners' meet was concluded awarding the top 12 highest achievers, top 3 performers which is Platinum, Gold and Silver and top performer from Chitwan, Butwal and Pokhara to Education consultancies.
