Bumrungrad Hospital opens Nepal office
Kathmandu, August 5 :
Bumrungrad International, Thailand’s premier medical centre, has opened a referral centre in Kathmandu for patients seeking overseas medical care at its hospital.
Bumrungrad has joined hands with Temple Tiger, a Kathmandu-based tour and travel management company, to operate the centre.
The referral centre will provide outbound patients with a full service coordination, including airline ticketing, doctor appointments, ground services, accommodation and visas, according to Basant Raj Mishra, executive chairman of Temple Tiger.
“We are delighted to be associated with Bumrungrad. The hospital is recognised worldwide as a first class medical facility, “ said Mishra. Bumrungrad attracts over one million patients annually from 190 countries.
“Nepal is entering a new phase of peace and prosperity, and we look forward to reinvigorating our efforts in the market,” said Denis Brown, chief executive officer, Bumrungrad International Group.
Founded in 1980, Bumrungrad Hospital is a 554-bed, one-stop medical centre located at Bangkok, Thailand.
