KATHMANDU: Police on Wednesday arrested a man on the charge of stealing one million rupees from a rented room of Bijay Chaudhary. DSP Bishwo Mani Pokharel, in-charge of the Metropolitan Police Circle, Maharajgunj, said Samir Gurung, 38, of Manang was at large after stealing the cash from Chaudhary’s unattended room. He was held from a guest house in Tokha. DSP Pokharel said the police also confiscated the stolen cash from Gurung.
