Kathmandu, February 15

The Mid Zone Bus Entrepreneurs Association (MZBEA) today claimed that their central office had been looted last Friday by the former president with the help of police and the local administration staff.

The association members said that some policemen asked the employees to vacate the office and took away the documents and furniture. President of the MZBEA, Kishor Manandhar said the conflict between the new committee and the former president of the association Devi Chandra Joshi who claims the presidency of the association, is still not finalised.

Legal advisor Keshav Dahal claimed that the conflicting situation arose due to the wrong decision of the Chief District Officer.

According to him, the CDO had directed the previous committee to run the organisation, from which seven out of ten members had already resigned. Therefore, the special general meeting had formed a new committee with Kishor Manandhar as the president.
