Cabinet to get full shape today

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is all set to expand the Cabinet, giving it a full shape today, likely at 5:30 pm.

According to PM Oli's Political Advisor, Bishnu Rimal, lawmakers from CPN-UML, CPN Maoist Centre and Federal Socialist Forum Nepal will be inducted to the Cabinet.

"We have not been briefed about the exact time yet but the Cabinet should get a full shape today," added Rimal.

It is likely that 14 ministers, seven from UML, five from CPN MC and two from FSF-N, will be added to the Cabinet as FSF-N joins the ruling coalition.

Meanwhile, it has been learnt that the President's official residence, Sheetal Niwas is gearing up for the oath-taking ceremony of the to-be ministers.

"Preparations are ongoing, it is likely that the swearing-in ceremony will begin at 4:00 pm," informed Prahlad Prasad Pudasaini, Assistant Spokesperson at the Office of the President.
