KATHMANDU: The cabinet meeting held today could not take any decision on the appointment of state heads and temporary province offices in lack of sufficient preparation.

The cabinet meeting earlier scheduled for yesterday was called off apparently due to lack of consensus on the appointee-names. Members of the cabinet sat down for discussion today in the set time but the appointment decisions could not materialise.

The meeting will now be held at 3:00 pm, it is said.
