KATHMANDU: The cabinet today promoted 22 joint-secretaries to the post of secretary.

Of them, four are officiating secretaries and 10 acting secretaries. Other eight are working as joint secretaries.

Two of the promoted officials are from the Madhesi quota.

The cabinet promoted Dr Sudha Sharma and Dr Prabin Mishra to the post of secretary of Health and Population under the Health Service.
