KATHMANDU: In a bid to curb the protest programmes of the main opposition party UCPN-Maoist, the cabinet meeting scheduled for Wednesday evening at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar will discuss the government’s strategies if the protests turn violent. UCPN-Maoist is organising the Singha Durbar gherao on Thursday and Friday. The meeting will also discuss the misbehaviour by Karima Begam, State Minister for Agriculture and Cooperatives with the Parsa CDO on Tuesday afternoon. Other ministerial issues are on the agenda to be discussed in the meeting, informed a minister.
