Kathmandu, October 18:

The Nepalbhasha Mankaa Khalaa has urged public to celebrate the festival of Tihar in the usual linear manner and not be confused by some of the other calendars.

According to a press release issued here today, Laxmi Puja should be celebrated on October 22, Mhapuja should be celebrated on October 23 and Bhaitika should be celebrated on October 24.

It has also urged all to participate in the New Year 1127 cultural rally, to be held on Monday morning at Basantapur. The rally is scheduled to be addressed by Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala and Tourism ,Culture and Civil AviationMinister Pradip Gyawali.
