Dr Rajendra robbed

KATHMANDU: The police have arrested Anil Garhtaula (21), a resident of Chabahil, for robbing Dr Piyus Kumar Rajendra (64) on Thursday. Garhtaula along with Santosh Tamang (20), hailing from Sifal, had robbed a mobile phone set from Dr Rajendra at Mitra Park before beating him up.

Gold, cash looted

KATHMANDU: An unidentified gang on Friday looted Rs 60,000 and 7 tolas of yellow metal from a house belonging to Shreeram Thapa in Panauti- 2 of Kavre district. The khukri-wielding men had managed to flee way with the cash and gold. An investigation into the incident is underway, local police said.
