Care sought for kids with Down’s
Kathmandu, March 21:
The Down’s Syndrome Association of Nepal (DSAN) today celebrated the International Down’s Syndrome Day with the slogan of “We are more alike that different”, so as to spread a message to the society that the children with the disease were capable of doing a lot of things that normal children can do.
Shila Thapa, president of DSAN, said the children with Down’s Syndrome required some extra care and support.
She added that if the hidden talents of the children were explored and enhanced, they could have better and independent living.
