KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 4
Chair of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China Li Zhanshu is visiting Nepal at the invitation of Speaker of the House of Representatives Agni Prasad Sapkota. Li will be in Nepal from September 12 to 15.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sapkota and Li will hold delegation-level bilateral talks on September 12. The speaker will host a banquet in honour of Li and the members of his delegation the same evening.
During his stay in Nepal, Li will pay courtesy calls on President Bidhya Devi Bhandari on September 14, and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on September 13. On the same day, Li will meet with Chairperson of the National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina and Minister of Foreign Affairs Narayan Khadka will pay a courtesy call on Li.
Chair of CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli, Chair of CPN-Maoist Centre Pushpa Kamal Dahal will also hold separate meetings with Li, said the MoFA.
