KATHMANDU: Property worth Rs 200,000 was destroyed when a fire broke out at the cowshed in Baghpaila, Chhaimale on the southern outskirts of Kathmandu on Tuesday.

The shed belonging to Shivaram Subedi had caught fire while they were preparing fodders for animals.

Two cows were also charred to death in the accident.

Further investigation is underway.
