Lalitpur, September 2:

The government has formed a high-level task force to monitor and reform children’s homes operating within the Kathmandu Valley.

The nine-member task force, formed under the coordination of Executive Director of Central Child Welfare Committee, Dharmaraj Shrestha, includes representatives form the Ministry of Home Affairs; Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare; National Human Rights Commission, National Women’s Commission, Social Welfare Council, Department of Women Development.
