BHAKTAPUR: A child has died after accidentally falling into a bucket full of water at Jhaukhel in Changunarayan Municipality-3 today.

Pratrus Shrestha, the two-year-old son of Devendra Shrestha living in a rented house in the area, drowned after falling into a bucket full of water in the courtyard of the house, DSP Rewati Raman Pokhrel at Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur, said.

The victim, who fell unconscious after falling into the bucket, died during treatment at the hospital.
