KATHMANDU, JULY 2

Children Vision Nepal has distributed Covid-19 relief materials worth Rs 3 million to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, on Thursday.

According to a statement issued by CVN, Ramesh Silwal, chairperson at the CVN handed over various relief materials to Dr Ramesh Kumar Shrestha, Chief of Emergency Services at TUTH, in a bid to prevent COVID 19 amidst a function.

The relief packages including masks, sanitisers and other supplies were contributed by Dr Peter Patel, Founder & International Director of Rotary Club of Birmingham, UK, CVN added.

Executive Director, Deputy Director, Administration Chief and TUTH doctors and staffers were present on the occasion.

Silwal, who has been involved in child welfare activities for over two decades, said it was a great contribution from the Rotary Club of Birmingham and Dr Peter Patel in times of crisis.

CVN is committed to continuing its social services in the coming days, Silwal, who was honoured by the government of Nepal with the Samaj Sewa Ratna Award, added.
