Lalitpur, August 31 :

As many as 80 children from different backgrounds are participating in a three-day National Child Club conference with the theme ‘Bringing about Change… Children’s Rights to Participation’ from September 5 to 7, Nupur Bhattacharya of Save the Children-Norway said.

Addressing a press meet, Bhattacharya said, “The children will discuss their right to participation in developing a National Plan of Action and National Policies, in the process towards constituent assembly and Convention on the Rights of the Child.”

“The meet will discuss modalities of promoting and ensuring children’s participation in the planning and policy drafting process.”
