China Cultural Heritage Week to begin on June 21

‘China Intangible Cultural Heritage Week’ is being held in Kathmandu from June 21 to June 26. The cultural programme will move to Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute from June 22 after its formal inauguration on June 21. The theme of this year’s China Culture Week is China Intangible Cultural Heritage, said Director of China Culture Centre Yin Kunsong.

“It will contain three parts including Tianjin Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition, Tianjin Cultural and Innovative Products Show and Weifang Kite making and flying activities,” Director Yin shared. Tianjin Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition will include 10 programmes, such as Wood Engraving Picture, Zhang’s Painted Clay Figures, paper cutting, wood carving, and others. Director Yin said, “We hope the China Culture Week will promote culture exchange and enhance understanding and friendship between Nepal and China.”
