China provides relief for flood victims

KAHTMANDU:

Chinese ambassador to Nepal, Sun Heping, handed over Rs 750,000 to the Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS) as relief to the flood and landslide victims.

Heping appreciated the services provided by the NRCS at a programme organised to mark its 44th anniversary. “This support is just a token from the Chinese government and cooperation will continue,” said Heping. The NRCS announced that it would extend its services to the people affected by recent floods and landslides in western Nepal.
