BHAKTAPUR: A visiting Chinese delegation including Minister of State Administration for Industry and Commerce, Zhang Mao, today visited the historic town of Bhaktapur.

The five-member delegation had arrived here to pay a visit to the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the Pottery Square, the Nyatpol (five-storey) Temple and other sites here, enlisted in the UNESCO world heritage list.

On the occasion, Minister Zhang took stock of damages inflicted on historic heritages here by the April 25 earthquake last year and inquired about the progress made for their reconstruction.

Following the Bhaktapur visit, the team set out to visit Nagarkot.
