Chinese minister calls on PM Oli
KATHMANDU: China's Minister for State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television Cai Fuchao called on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the latter's official residence in Baluwatar on Friday.
During the meeting, the duo discussed matters relating to mutual interests and bilateral relation, read a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Secretariat on Friday.
They also discussed exchange of news and information and mutual cooperation between the media of two countries.
On the occassion, Cai Fuchao said that the meeting held between PM Oli and President Xi Jinping during former's visit to China would help further strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
PM Oli during the meeting informed the Chinese minister that a high-level task force has been formed to implement the agreements signed with China during his visit to northern neighbour, the statement read.
He also said that Cai Fuchao's visit to Nepal would help further strengthen cordial relationship between the two countries.
PM Oli also lauded the Chinese Government's help during the earthquake and post-quake reconstruction works.
