Chitra Bahadur KC discharged from hospital

KATHMANDU:  Former Deputy Prime Minister and Rastriya Janamorcha Chairman Chitra Bahadur KC has returned home on Thursday evening, after a two-day hospitalisation.

He had been admitted to the Sinamangal-based Kathmandu Medical College Teaching Hospital after falling from a moving microbus in Gaushala of Kathmandu yesterday.

“Doctors suggested to discharge him from the hospital after his health condition improved,” said Durga Sharma, KC’s personal secretary.

A medical team led by Dr Amit Thapa was involved in the treatment of 76-year-old former deputy prime minister.

Former Prime Minister Lokendra Bahadur Chand and CPN-UML Vice-Chairman Bhim Bahadur Rawal had visited the hospital to know the health condition of  former DPM KC
