Kathmandu: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Monday directed the National Sports Council (NSC) to follow the guidelines set by the anti-graft body to formulate financial directives. The CIAA had directed a similar guideline some six months ago to the NSC.

Stating that the NSC did not follow its old directives, the anti-graft body has directed the government to follow the same within three months.

The Olympic committees of the NSC are yet to follow the guidelines which the CIAA had issued on July 27 to draft the financial directives within three months. The anti-graft body issued the directive again on Monday as the past directive was not implemented.
