KATHMANDU: Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority today directed Nepal Electricity Authority to amend the NEA Regulation 2006, which allows an SLC graduate to serve as a gazetted officer in it.

“Since the provision is wrong, the directive not to promote any person without an intermediate degree to the sixth grade has been issued,” the CIAA said in a press release. It also said a seven-year-old agreement between Kathmandu Metropolitan City and Innovative Concept Nepal Pvt Ltd to construct overhead bridges was not effectively implemented.
