CJ to retire to native village

KATHMANDU: Chief Justice Min Bahadur Rayamajhi today expressed his wish to go back to his native village in Bhojpur district after retirement from the top judicial post.

"I want to go to Helaunchha, Bhojpur, after my retirement. I love the house where I was born and brought up," Rayamajhi said. He noted that many high-ranking officials sell off their ancestral property and settle in the city. "It's not good. We should revisit our past and contribute to our villages," Rayamajhi told a programme organised by Bhojpure Sewa Samaj. The CJ called on all successful persons to make efforts for the country’s development.

CA members Shanti Basnet Adhikari and Kumar Rai also spoke on the occasion.
