Clean air drive to be launched in schools

Lalitpur, June 23:

The Kathmandu Electrical Vehicles Alliance (KEVA) is going to launch a "Clean Air Campaign" in the Valley schools to create awareness among the school children about air pollution and its impact on public health. In this connection, KEVA organised a seminar of principals and teachers of various schools on Wednesday so as to make the campaign fruitful. The campaign also aims to create awareness among the students on the importance of pollution-free vehicles. On the occasion, senior programme associate of KEVA Rakshya Thapa said the pollution level in the Valley is over three times more than the government-set standard.
