CoAS Gurung to visit India
KATHMANDU: On an invitation from Indian Army Chief Deepak Kapoor, Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Chattraman Singh Gurung is leaving for a week-long India visit on December 11. During his India stay, Gurung will attend a passing-out ceremony of Indian Army cadets at Indian Military Academy on December 12 in Deheradun as a special guest and hold meetings with high-level army officials and security advisors.
Gurung will receive a title of honorary general of the Indian Army from Indian President Pratibha Patil on December 14 along with a guard of honour from the Indian Army.
Gurung is organising a banquet on behalf of Indian Army Chief Deepak Kapoor at the Nepali Embassy in New Delhi on December 16.
