KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala on Monday condoled the death of Indian veteran communist leader and former chief minister Jyoti Basu, who passed away on Sunday. In the condolence message, Koirala described Basu's important contribution in establishing democracy in Nepal. Koirala also lauded Basu's role in India's prosperity.
