KATHMANDU, MAY 6
A meeting of the Constitutional Council has been called to initiate the process of recommending a new Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Nepal.
The Council Secretariat called the meeting for Thursday at 5:00 pm at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar, acting on the directive of the Prime Minister, who also chairs the Constitutional Council.
According to Dipa Dahal, Press and Investigation Expert to Prime Minister Balendra Shah, the main agenda of the meeting is to recommend a candidate for the post of Chief Justice.
