KATHMANDU: Police on Monday arrested two of a family for their alleged involvement in hoarding the cooking gas with the intention of black marketing.

Police identified the suspects as Tankalal Kayastha and his son Pragyan of Pryasnagar, Tokha Muncipality-8.

A police team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Maharajgunj raided the Dhana Laxmi Traders on Sunday, after receiving information about the black marketing of LPG.

Police recovered the 15 filled unsealed cylinders of various companies from the shop.
