KATHMANDU:

The Metropolitan Police Crime Division (MPCD), Hanumandhoka, on Thursday arrested Prakash Baby Ghimire, 25, of Chitawan, on the charge of stealing motorcycles. The police said Ghimire used to steal motorcycles and telephone the victims. “He used to seek money from the victims, saying he had the motorcycles and will return them if the victims deposit some money in his bank account,” SSP Upendra Kanta Aryal said. He has two citizenship certificates under two names.

“He has opened an account at the Nepal Investment Bank in the name of Narayan Subedi and has put the photo of his own father,” Aryal added. We are conducting a search to nab other members of Subedi’s gang, police said.
