Cosmic Air flights stalled for now

Kathmandu, October 14:

Cosmic Air has “temporarily stalled” its operations from October 15 to October 31 due to “technical hitches”, Upendra Karki, marketing director of Cosmic Air, said, adding, however, that the airline will resume its operations from November 1. “We have already notified the travel agents concerned regarding the temporary suspension of the airline’s operations,” said Karki.

The airline’s only operational Fokker continues to remain grounded due to technical glitches.

“We are replacing the engine of the Fokker either in Kathmandu or in Singapore,” said Karki. The Fokker had been operating on the Delhi, Varanasi, Biratnagar and Nepalgunj sectors. The airline did not fly today since there was no flight schedule for the day, said Karki.
