‘Country needs stable govt for prosperity’

Veteran culture expert Satya Mohan Joshi, who cast his votes in Lalitpur today, said the country needed a stable government to achieve the goals of development.
“It is the right time to form a stable government in the country. Prosperity is not possible without a stable government,” he added.
Joshi cast his vote at Adarsha Niketan Higher Secondary School in Lalitpur constituency-2 this morning. Joshi said, “We should unite. We want new changes.”
Vijay Chalise, who cast his vote at Path Pradarshak Higher Secondary School Deutatar Godavari Municipality said the proportional representation electoral system should be scrapped to bring stability in the country.
Narmada Acharya, 73, cast her vote with the help of her son.
Another voter Shankarman Pahari, 73, said, “Proper arrangements have been made for elderly citizens like me to cast vote this time.” He said he wanted to see a stable government formed after the elections.
Rupesh Ghimire, a first-time voter, said a stable government was needed for the country’s development. “I want to see prosperity in the country, no matter who wins the elections,” he said.
There are three constituencies in Lalitpur district where 228,338 voters were eligible to cast their votes. Voting was held peacefully in all the polling centres of the district.
