KATHMANDU:

The Special Court on Monday ordered former director-general of the Department of Transport Management, Abdul Raish Khan, official of the department Narad Mani Bhattarai and businessman Rishi Ram Kharel to pay fine for importing vehicles by evading customs duties some three years ago. A three-member bench of justices Bhoopdhoj Adhikary, Komal Nath Sharma and Cholendra SJB Rana ordered each of them to pay Rs 5,000 as fine. The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority had filed a corruption case against the three some three years ago.
