CPN Maoist Centre CC meeting on Monday
KATHMANDU: The CPN Maoist Centre has called an extended meeting of the central committee for Monday, July 17 to discuss the issues including review of the local level elections, contemporary political situation of the country and expansion of the government.
The meeting scheduled to take place at party central office, Parisdanda, would dwell on the issues including the reasons behind the party's failure to achieve anticipated results in the first and second phase of local elections.
According to party Spokesperson Pampha Bhusal, all 75 district chairperson or in-charge of the party would brief the party central leadership about the overall status of the district and discussion would be held on the future strategic direction of the party.
Likewise, the meeting would also touch on the issue on how to take ahead the party's preparation for local level elections in Province 2.
Party Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal is set to present a contemporary political report while district Chairpersons are scheduled to share district political scenario.
The meeting would also talk about constitution amendment and preparation on federal and provincial elections.
