CPN (Unified Socialist) has called its secretariat meeting for Monday to decide the date of the general convention of the party.
Deputy General Secretary and Head of Publicity Department of the party, Jagannath Khatiwada, said that the secretariat meeting has been called to decide a new date as the previous date clashed with National Assembly elections.
The meeting to be held at the party's central office, Aloknagar, Kathmandu will also discuss inter-party directives including reassignment of responsibilities of leaders, division of work and nominations to various committees.
Khatiwada said that the contemporary international situation will be discussed while a strategy will be decided on the role to be played by the party.
