KATHMANDU: Minister for Home Affairs Shakti Bahadur Basnet on Thursday directed the chiefs of all 14 zonal police offices to make crime investigation more effective and take legal action against the guilty on the basis of solid evidences.

Speaking at an interaction with zonal police chiefs in the capital, he stressed on adopting new technology to combat crimes.
