Girl attacked

Sharmila Prajapati (19) was injured when an unidentified person attacked her at Kumarigal, Kathmandu, on Saturday night. She is undergoing treatment in critical condition at the Nepal Medical College, Sinamangal. She was attacked in the night with iron rod while she was on her way back to home from her office at the Raddison Hotel in Lazimpat. The attacker also looted a sum of Rs 5,000 from her. She hails from Chyamasingh, Bhaktapur.

House looted

A group of three unidentified persons on Saturday looted property worth Rs 13,000 from a house owned by Devidutta Upadhyay at Lalitpur Sub-metropolitan City-2. The looters made away with a mobile phone set, a wrist watch and a telephone set from the house, police said.
