Cyclists’ appeal to join January 10 march
Kathmandu, December 31:
Bhaktapur district committee of Nepal Workers and Peasants’ Party (NWPP) affiliated Nepal Revolutionary Students’ Association today took out a bicycle rally to publicise the Bhaktapur-Kathmandu march scheduled for January 10. The rally passed through all the wards of Bhaktapur and Thimi.
NWPP central committee member, Prem Suwal, said around 200 cyclists passed through various areas of the two municipalities calling on people to join the January 10 Bhaktapur-Kathmandu march.
Suwal said the Bhaktapur-Kathmandu march was being held to press for the restoration of the dissolved House of Representatives and to oppose the royal regression. The march will start from Bhaktapur Durbar Square and conclude at New Baneshwor in Kathmandu, he said.
