Danish Minister finally arrives
Kathmandu, November 28:
Danish Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Per Stig Møller arrived in Nepal today on a two-day visit.
Minister Møller met President Dr Ram Baran Yadav, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Foreign Minister Upendra Yadav today. Minister Møller, who was scheduled to arrive here from Bangkok on Wednesday, arrived Kathmandu this morning via Singapore. His visit was delayed by the political unrest in Bangkok. His scheduled visit to Bhutanese refugee camps in Eastern Nepal has been cancelled.
Meanwhile, Chief of the General Staff of the United Kingdom, Sir Richard Dannatt, paid a courtesy call on CoAS Rookmangud Katawal at Army Headquarters today. Issues of mutual benefits of both the armies were discussed during the meeting.
