KATHMANDU: The central committee meeting of the UCPN-Maoist, which begun on Wednesday, discussed the political document presented by party chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Thrusday.

“Fourteen groups of the central committee members — 13 state committees and one advisory committee — have completed their discussion on the chairman’s political paper,” said a politburo member. The leaders of all the 14 groups will put forth their suggestions on the document tomorrow. Following this, Prachanda will reshape the document, incorporating the inputs and corrections. “The party’s organisational structure will be revamped,” claimed another politburo member. “The politburo has decided to hold the party’s national convention, the date of which will be fixed by the central committee.”
