Deepak Manange joins ethnic party
KATHMANDU: A known gangster of Kathmandu, Rajiv Gurung alias Deepak Manange, has joined Federal Democratic National Forum led by a former Maoist leader
Laxman Tharu.
General Secretary of FDNF Rabindra Thing, however, claimed that Manange had reached the Anamnagar-based party office to consult for his entry into the party. "He is scheduled to join the party during a formal programme - national conference of the Federal Volunteers Force-- to be held at Hetauda on March 28," Thing said. Manange is associated with running a discotheque, night clubs, snooker houses and several entertainment related businesses in the Kathmandu Valley.
